Draught
Red mahogany color. As close to a Lager as a Vienna can get (side to side with the Kokanee they are difficult to distinguish). Amazing for the lack of roasted malt or caramel.

Im not very impressed with this beer. Another beer that gets way more praise then what its really worth. I love the appearange of the beer, however the flavor just doesnt meet standards. Its much too bitter, with a strong lack of flavor. Not much else I can say. However, alot of people with a vast knowledge of beer seem to like it...maybe theres something im missing.

Tap version in Edmonton AB. Pours a clear reddish brown topped with a fairly creamy head, and decent lacing. Aroma is muted but slightly malty as is the flavor. Well balanced with a medium mouthfeel. Strikingly similar in flavor to a Smithwicks. Decent enough for session drinking.

Had on tap at Shark’s Nest in Vancouver. Decent looking beer was pretty meh on the nose and tongue with little to offer in terms of malts. Bit thinnish as well, but overall solid enough.
