3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
caramel, bread, resin, citrus, banana, vanilla, pale, hazy, minimal head, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, light body, creamy, thin feel, average carbonation
Nothing like Hoegaarden guys. Pale and hazy on the pour as expected. Very mild fruity/citrus aroma, but overall sweetnes sticks in the nose. Lightly bitter with only a bit of citrus/fruit flavour - Belgian yeast not as prominent that’s for sure. Light bodied with good carbonation so refreshing and enjoyable enough (that is until you’ve had a real Belgian Wit). Finishes clean. For the price, go for the real thing instead of this weaker imitation.

To my mind, the only possible pet is a cow. Cows love you. They will listen to your problems and never ask a thing in return. They will be your friends forever. And when you get tired of them, you can kill and eat them. Perfect.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
My Bottom Line:
Tons of coriander ride this Witbier’s flabby mouthfeel, burdened by sugar and even more coriander.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam tops the cloudy whit-ish foam.
-If you like coriander seeds, this might work for you. No brewing flaws per say, just too sweet and spicy for my tastes in Witbier.
-This worked quite well with raw oysters though.
-The finish is endless coriander.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Originally rated August 2006. Was surprise this one existed, when I went to a restaurant in Montreal, before a Slayer show. Was more orangy than witbier-looking. Slightly cloudy, and tasted more orange than corriander or other things. Was quite refreshing though. Would try again. Notes: this is better than it’s direct competition - Keith’s White.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle@Quarter Deck Pub, Port Hardy, Canada. Cloudy pale golden beer with a fizzy white head. The aroma is pleasantly citric, and the flavour is citric with yeasty and dryness. Overall a drinkable but average witbier.

1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can pours a slightly cloudy yellow ale with a thick head but thins away. Aroma somewhat of mild fruit and some hops. Taste sweetish hops, rather thin and moderate flavor.
