5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
In the past, I’ve tried Belgian Whites that have tasted like a combination of pefume and fruit.
About a month ago, I gave Rickard’s White a try at a local restaurant (served with an orange slice) and really enjoyed the taste of this wheaty citrus tasting brew.
Throughout the hockey playoffs over the past couple of weeks, I’ve consumed a few cases and have continued to enjoy.
If you like craft beer and are looking for something to expand your beer horizons, I recommend giving this product a chance.

I can only surmise that the low ratings are the result of some pubs not serving this the way it was intended to be served. For proper enjoyment, there should be a slice of orange on the glass that you then place into the beer (much like a lime with a Corona). This does a lot to activate the citrus in the beer and made it very quickly my favorite beer of all time. If you are not getting a slice of orange, or worse, eating it instead of placing it in the beer, then of COURSE you’re not going to like it.

Much seculiar than it’s red cousin, Rickard’s white will catch big fans of Hoegaarden.
It is near perfect in taste, smell and presentation.
I was impressed actually.

Délicieux parfum . Bonne mousse et dentelle. Belle couleur ambrée. Un goût très fruité. Aucune amertume.

botte/tap. pours very cloudy straw coloured with moderate fluffy white head. Great strong aroma of oranges. Very light and refreshing orange flavour with slight spice hints and yeast. Finishes clean and a little dry. I prefer it on tap but wouldn’t turn down a bottle. Great for the patio season.

Discovered this beer at Rock Bottom in Windsor during a private party.
Started the evening with a standard light beer. Later a friend offered to buy me a Rickards White, which I had never heard of before. Loved it. I was hooked for the rest of the evening. Hopefully I can find it at the local Beer/Liquor Stores.

Throughly enjoyed this beer - quite unusual - perhaps they should rename it as Ricard’s Bronze instead of White? Nice light citrus tone and a light aroma. Very easy to drink.

Huge cirtus notes, with an orange slice is best. Pours cloudy and creamy, Head dissipates quickly. Great beer to the last sip.

Great beer-- it’s great to have a few of these. Especially good out of a can.
