Tap @ brewery. Pours a clear dark reddish orange appearance with an off white head. Light chocolate, caramel, a touch fruity nose. A bit syrupy, sweet caramel malty, caramel, lightly piney flavor. Not hard to drink but not my favorite.

Tap at the brewery - hazy dark ruby - despite the dark color, it tastes more like a "regular" double ipa - medium sweet - lots of earthy citrus, pine and an almost minty hop note - high acidity, but not abrasive - acidity and bitterness are tempered by a light caramel sweetness on the tail end - a touch of toasty malt on the tail end separates this from a regular iipa - if you were in the mood for a hoppy strong ale, you could do a lot worse.

In my opinion this beer served from the brewery’s English Beer Engine was very smooth. I’m not a big hops guy, but this way very tasty on the way down and I didn’t taste it later with every little burp!

On tap at Rickolis poured a hazy brown with a linmgering ring of tan foam. Aromas of roastiness, light charcoal, earthiness, grapefruit and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of roastiness, earthiness, grapefruit and pine with a smooth dry moderatly bitter lingering earthy finish.
