Bottle. Pours a dark gold colour with a thin white head, malty aroma, the taste is sweet, with a dry finish.

aatuu lasiin kullankeltaisena, kirkkaana ja niukalla vaahdolla. Haju on maltainen, kevyen hedelmäinen ja ruohoisen humaloitu sekä hieman pistävä. Maku on hedelmäinen, kitkerä, hieman pihkainen, piparinen ja ruohoinen. Suutuntuma on pistävähkö ja katkera. Kokonaisuutena kepeä olut, joka ehkä paremmin sopisi kevääseen kuin jouluun.

Brewed in England for the USA. Pours golden with a creamy white head, thin, floral aroma and hop finish. More of a summer than a winter ale, probably one of their regular beers dressed up with a new label for Christmas. Not bad but stretching it a bit for winter’s ale both in style and strength.

A copper brown beer with a weak and blond head. Aroma of nuts, some aromatic fruits and wooden and a hint of pineforest hoppyness. Taste of nuts, some roastiness, wooden hops, that are not stale, luckily. Medium- bodied, mild carbonation. Quite nice, nuts and wood.

Bottle at home. Dark golden color with small white head. Malty aroma with some hops, nothing special. Actually smooth hoppy taste, malty, quite light body, fresh. Nice basic ale.

101112. Bottle at home. Pours golden with a medium head. Aroma spices, caramel. Medium light body. Strange almost belgian wit feel to this. Not Bad.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Amber with no head and a bit if carbonation. Sweet malts, with a syrupy edge, some red fruits and a slightly bitter finish. Forgettable, but not unpleasant.
