Fresh bread and candy sugar aromas. Slightly hazy medium yellow and copper body. The first thing to hit is a creamy body followed by a sourdough-like breadiness. Then an earthy, vegetal bitterness kicks in and balances the light caramel sweetness. Finishes with a lasting bitterness that turns a bit floral along with the caramel sweetness. A very nice English winter ale.

Bottle. Aroma is hoppy, but enough malt to curb the hoppiness. Pours golden with a thick white head. Taste is smooth to start with a malty flavor. Finishes dry with a hoppy bite.

50 cl bottle from BevMo - Pours a crystal clear golden color with a 3/4 finger thick off white head. Faint lacing. Aroma is stinky hops. Flavor is toasted malt and herbal hops. Medium body. Not too bad if you can get past the aroma.

Pours copper color with a small head. Aroma of caramel, malts, resin and ripe fruits. Flavor of caramel malts, toffee, wooden notes, syrup and fruits. A bit boozy.

New Beer Distributors, NY 50cl ($5): Pours is amber with a beige head. Aroma is toffee, a bit of English hops, and sugar. Taste is extremely sweet, with some hop bitterness to round it off. However, there sugar is just too much. Perhaps this is too warming?

Aroma is fruity with English hops and hay. Flavour has English hops, toffee, some hay and spices. Something between English strong and blond ale.

Draught at bar. Amber color, white head. Bitter taste with caramel, citrus, grass and toast. Pretty fine brew.

Aroma of orange and coriander. Large two-finger foam with a bright golden color. Very citrussy flavor with notes of peach and mango. Some caramel and bready malts. Overall, It taste very lacking. It’s a pretty weak beer.

It poured an amber color with a white head. The aroma was citrusy, earthy and malty. The taste was sweet with just a hint of bitters on the finish. The mouthfeel was crisp and smooth. Decent.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Malty and fruity, with a nice floral hoppy bite. Fairly well balanced. Not bad.
