COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If Maris Otter malt is the body of our beer then hops are its spirit. Each year we choose our hops not just by farm but by individual garden and time of harvest. One older variety, Challenger, and one new,Boadicea, used as unprocessed whole leaf hops. Extravagant, perhaps, but delicious.

On Cask at Rattle N Hum in NYC. Pours slightly hazy orange body. Aroma is sour cigar - if that makes any sense. Taste is warm, tastelessness until the finish which is somewhat salty.

Tried out of the bottle. A touch cooked on the nose, thin and watery some floral hop flavours but not much to write home about...

1 Pt. .9 0z. Bottle was under a lot of pressure. Lost about 1/4 of it as it foamed out the bottle. Aroma of malt and slight hops. Big dark white head that went away after awhile. Nice amber color. Dry finish, slight bitter. Doesn’t quite have the taste that I associate with bitter.

Bottle. Medium amber brown beer with a thin white head. The aroma is hoppy, with a hint of caramel. The taste is dry at the beginning, with plenty of fruit., with a long bitter aftertaste.

500ml bottle-pours an off white head and slightly hazy amber/gold color. Aroma is weird. Orange marmalade, some sweet light malt, yeast. Taste is some orange follows from aroma, but blends nicely with the light/medium malt, secondary tea/earthy hops. Non-offensive, easy. Thanks jwc215 for sharing this one.

What a nice english bitter! Well hopped for that nice clean bitter finish. Apple like hoppiness, nice light pale malt falvors.

Bottle. Clear amber with a big, rocky head. Malty aroma blending with herbal hops. Quite sweet, some toffee flavours, some herbal bitterness. Lacks that little extra.

Bottle: Hazy orange pour with visible floaties topped with a creamy off white head. The aroma has some apple crisp notes as well as subtle biscuit-malt and flowery hop notes. Flavor is very simple. Bland with a very subtle biscuit malt background and some crisp apple-skin fruity notes. The finish is mild grassy bitterness. Very mild and simplistic, but an easy session.
