Far from it. "Complex stuff and a long, long way from mainstream beer". Mnja...

330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear copper / dark golden, big white head. rich lacing. Mild aroma of biscuits and grass, nothing exciting. Oily mouthfeel, low carbonated. The taste is simple, butterscotch from malt and grassy hops, no depth in taste just sweet and sticky.

Sweet caramel aroma and taste! Quite bitter finish. 10% that hides very well. Tasty and recommended!

Bottle 2015 vintage. Pours a clear, light brown body with a large, offwhite head. Some metallic and vegetable notes in the aroma at first.. Hmm..Also malts, dried fruits, dates and caramel.Taste is sweet but not overly. Some vanilla notes along with a sweet fruityness, and a light bitter finish. Hides the 10% abv quite well. Probably better with some ageing tho. Full body and softly carbonated.

Clear amber beer with a HUGE four finger high, fluffy, white head.

Nose: Orange marmelade, caramel malt, dried fruit, sweet syrup and raisin.
Taste: Caramel, orange, apple, vanilla, pine, alcohol and toffee.
Body: Medium to full body. MEdium carbonation. Smooth, soft texture. Boozy.

It’s an ok Barely Wine but nothing I’m going to look for again.
