Red’ish with quickly dying off-white head.
Aroma is malty sweet, fruit with a touch of hops. Taste on the malty side as well with a good dose of alcohol.. The Barley Wine category seems appropriate. Very sweet. Nice.

Almost clear rich amber beer, residual bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth with mild minerally carbonation. Smooth malts with traces of unsweet caramel and cream. Modest spice. Mellow brandy flavours. Mild marmalade provides contrast. Smooth finish. Pretty drinkable and nicely aged.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Terre de Boissons calais. Clear light brown beer lasting beige head. Sticky sweet malt aroma. Some obvious alcohol in the mouth. Some toast. Fruity. Orange peel. It’s pretty decent. Not hot on the finish just a little sting. I would recommend it.
