3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
In short: Some kind of bastard Americanised over-hopped EBS style beer. kind of fun
How: Tap at Golden Days, GŲteborg Sweden
The look: Partly cloudy shining orangey-blond body topped by a persistent small white head
In long: Nose is leafy hops with citrusy undertones and some light annoying sulphuric notes. Taste is a bit fruity and with a crunchy semi-sweet malt backbone that really taste like eating a mix-bag of dried fruits. The beer is generously hops with what appeared to be Golding-like hops bringing a strong iced-tea flavor, flower petals and citrusy undertones. This beer is like an English ESB with the hopping cranked up to 11 because thatís the trend these days, more is better. Is it an American style or a Swedish style IPA or an English style IPA? This is not important, letís not talk semantics here because honestly really I donít feel like googling what semantics really means.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a substantial white head with decent retention that leaves some thin spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is herbal and citrus with some caramel. Taste is citrus and herbal hop bitterness nicely balanced by the malty sweetness. Medium bodied with some nice carbonation leaving a pleasant feel on the palate. A nicely done brew.

Aroma is fresh with citrus and pine, sweet malting. Inviting. Slightly hazy coppery amber. Creamy head is quite long. Bit sparkly. Good balance. Long fresh and crisp flavor. Full bodied, soft feel. Really liked this one. Nice flavors, good balamce, easy to drink and enjoy.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Clear gold with a modest white head. Citric and floral aroma with a touch of boiled sweet. Bitter citrus, boiled sweets, peaches, herbs. OK hop aromas, nice bitterness, but has neither the clean modern touch nor English malt character.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
04/05 0.5 l bottle ogivlado brought from Slovakia, thanks for sharing! It poured golden body with medium sized head. Sweetish, dusty and only a bit herbal hoppy. Flavor is cleaner, decent bitter herbal hoppy combined with weak malty notes, yet quite watery. With its thinner body finish was surely short, but it showed slight fruitiness in addition to raw herbal notes. Nothing close to IPA of course, but itís an average boring British bitter.
