bhensonb (2735), Woodland, California, USA May 13, 2008 500 ml. bottle. Floral aroma over light roasted caramel. Dark copper color with a decent beige head. Medium body with very mild carbonation. Lightly roasted malt with mild fruity sweetness. Enough floral/fruity hop bitter to balance. Finishes almost dry. Really, really pleasant to drink.
zappafan99 (256), Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA Jul 25, 2008 Taste 7/8 bottle (by:F09) Looks: Gold to amber, nice thick white head with lacing. Aroma: Sour musk from the yeast. Taste: Grain, sour, nice crisp bit. Really smooth. Well balanced. Each ingredient represents itself, and none overwhelm. BeerGestapo (258), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 11, 2008 (England) Pours a copper color with a med fizzy off white head. Aroma is of roasted malts, citrus, and slight hops. Taste has a bitter grain flavor that lasts well into the finish. there is some nice lacing in the glass !! This however is not quite what is expected, but not bad. badlizard (1380), San Diego, California, USA Jun 22, 2008 Tasted at the SDCF. Clear yellow with a creamy white head. Malt and earthy hops aroma. Citrus and grassy taste with some mild bitterness. TET (120), Finland Jun 19, 2008 Copper-brown beer with medium blond head. Malts, pine needles and some grass is found in the aroma Flavour is similar than aroma and very bitter, but not pleasant way. Quite easy to drink and carbonation is balanced. Ridgeway Ivanhoe can’t convince me at any way (or maybe bottle’s etiquette) and dustiness bothers me. I can’t recommend this beer. Beerded_one (1551), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours copper with a ultra small white head. Thin aroma of light malts, caramel, grapefruit and earthy hops Flavor is bitter with light caramel, grains, and some grapefruit with a bitter and tart finish
