"Distinctively hoppy, lively, refreshing. Blue is the first bottle conditioned ale brewed deliberately to taste great chilled."

Pint hottle into a Perfect Pint. Tea colores with a half finger layer of foam. A nice nose that is fruit and malt. Flavor is gentle with nuts, fruit, light spice. Some very light hop notes bring a dash of bitterness. They build with warmer temperature. A decent bitter.

500 ml. bottle. Pours a thin ivory head, with some lacing, over a cloudy dark gold (SRM 6) body.....nose is light grass, bit of cereal, slight toffee/caramel....taste is cereal, light toffee/caramel, finishing with a light bitterness....mouth feel light, carbonation low. This is a simple, rather boring beer. It is easily drinkable, but not in the least interesting. I wonder, with the heavy cloudiness, and very light hop presence, if the bottle is old. BJCP 7/2/11/4/6

Despite their claim, I let the bottle warm a bit out of the fridge. Poured with a nice foamy, frothy, fluffy, off white head that slowly settles down and some lace. Color is a hazy, medium amber with plenty of bubble trails. Aroma is a fairly subdued blend of hop, malt, caramel, grass, and a little spice. Flavor is similar to nose, nicely bittersweet with just enough carbonic tang. Body is good and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor and of medium length. Decent brew for the milder side.

Bottle. Ölrepubliken Göteborg. Cloudy golden colour with a white head. Clean, crisp,a bit lagerlike, some grainy malt, light fruitiness, balanced bitterness. Very drinkable, but almost too clean and a bit boring.
