3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 imdownthepub (8492) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, - JAN 28, 2007Bottle conditioned, 500ml. Gold with white head. Heavy hoppy aroma on pouring giving a good indication of what is to come. This is a crisp dry but overall a tremendously oily hop beer. It tastes very fresh from the bottle and the condition is good, fresh and grassy with hints of citric lemon. A very good bottled beer, which seemingly is Hepworths trademark, good on them.

50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 14.02.2009
Aroma is somewhat hoppy with floral notes, some fruits and forree. Flavour is slightly sweet with toffee, hops, some fruits, floral notes, nuts and biscuits. Refreshing, but be sure to get a fresh bottle – this one turns flat rather quickly.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 maxwelldeux (2226) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JAN 1, 2013
Bottle. Overflowed when I opened it. Pours a very hazy copper color when a very thick white head. Nose is a little hoppy and bitter, but without the freshness of a pale ale. Taste is much the same, being a tad dull. Meh.

Nose has hints of orange and lime with some underpinning sweet malt. Pours a hazy gold. Flavour is spiced and redolent of a European wheat. More of the orange, some fresh spice, a long and thirst-quenching finish. Not bad.

Aroma is complex fruit and malts. The flavor is fruit, toffee, grain/bread and a dryish/hoppy finish.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 msalm (58) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 13, 2012
Large, sparkly, fruity aroma. Notes of apple, pear, and cheese. Hazy, golden orange with a thin, white head. Extremely bitter, a little sweet. Medium body, rough texture, harsh carbonation and bitter, near astringent finish...reminds me of dandelion. Overall, a so-so beer with not too much going on.
