COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Falling from the sky like bombs of flavour come the Reindeer Droppings! Each one is sweet like California raisins, but bitter and pungent like a freshly peeled grapefruit, lip-smackingly tasty... then "pow!" it’s gone. How did that happen?

Mild carbonation, hay colour with a small amount of head. Light delicate nose of grain, some banana, lemon and grassy hops. Biscuit and grain dominance with highlights of grapefruit, lemon and hints of banana. Finish of malt sweetness offset by a light musky hop bitterness, somewhat dry.

Not bad.. Jess picked this one up for me at some point over the holidays. Doesn’t really have a "christmas" character, but for an English amber, this beer is remarkably flavorful with a decent body to boot.

New Beer Distributors, NY 50cl ($4.75): Pours light amber with a nice looking white head. Aroma is dark fruits and caramel malts. Taste is slightly bitter and moderately sweet. Malts dominate the taste. Body is lighter than expected. Minimal aftertaste. Ultimately, this ain’t that interesting, which isn’t to say I was expecting all that much.
