Angeloregon (2002), Portland, Oregon, USA Oct 6, 2008 Last year’s bottle from Woodstock Wine and Deli in Portland, OR--Rich copper-amber body with a big two-finger thick pillowy cloud head. Malty grapefruit and orange flavors. Creamy, crisp and mildly cardboardy/metallic, but overall has a mild spice character. Very quaffable. Held up well considering age and the fact it is 6% ABV. oh6gdx (6343), Vaasa, Finland Sep 29, 2008 Bottled@SBWF2008. Amber colour, rich off-white head. Aroma is lots of caramel malts, some mild hops as well as dry dark fruits. Flavour is quite much the same. A very sweet malty brew for being a Ridgeway product. Suits the Christmas season well! KimJohansen (4296), Copenhagen V, Denmark Sep 20, 2008 Clear amber with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with tosted malt, caramel and ripe fruits. Sweet flavour with same notes. Ends sweet. Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 8, 2008 Bottled. An amber beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel - the aroma is too light for my liking. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish. ehhdayton (1086), USA Jul 29, 2008 Pours a copperish orange with a slightly off white head. Head size was decent and of decent duration. Aroma was very mild with a slight hint of spice. Flavor was with some malt and low spice notes. Finish on the palate is mild.
