Bottle. Poured the same boring color most of their other brews did, same two finger white head, too. Smells like vomit tastes. Tastes okay, maybe medium to light bodied beer. Not worth revisiting. Leave this to housewives buying this for their respective husbands come Christmas time.

Not a bad beer but perhaps too light for an strong ale, similar to a malty beer with some hops and perhaps orange or spices notes.

Bottle. Very over priced for such a bad beer. Color was copper in color with a nice head. Aroma was pickled barley. Taste, straw, very bitter but the nasty kind of bitter.

Slightly hazy dark copper with a big sticky sweet nose, toffee and fig pudding. Nice earthy and mellow sweet flavor with toffee and dry biscuit. Finished a bit watery with English toffee malt. Decent and sweet but not memorable.

Hazy dirty copper to amber pour with a two finger soapy off white head. Aroma is sweet tree fruit, floral and fruity hops, a little toast, toffee and spicy hops. Flavor is toast, light nutty notes, light toffee, and some spicy, citrus, earthy and tea-like hops. A little metallic in the finish. Light to medium body, with a slightly chewy, but crisp entry, medium sharp carbonation and dry, crisp finish. Pretty good overall, nothing to really stand out about it, solid, fairly clean, but flavorful.

"perfume like aroma a little off putting at first, but grew on me. Not a bad beer or a very good beer - a little on the boring side, as unfortunately most Ridgeway beers seem to be. Shared this one with a friend..."
