50cl bottle. Golden, pale quickly settling head. Nose has lemon, grain and grass, hint of earth, pretty refreshing. Simple flavor with sweetish lemony hops, grainy pale maltiness, grass, hints of pepper and soap, a bit too sweet finish with crisp bitterness. A tad oily mouthfeel with fizzy strong carbonation. Guess I could have a few hours organic session with this.

Flaske 0,5l fra Kilpishalli. Skibotn 8 Okt 11. Lys gylden. Høyt luftig skum som forsvinner. OK svakt fruktig aroma. Litt vassen smak med spor av frukt & malt. Litt syrlig bitterhet i ettersmaken. Uklar siste kvelling. Mye sedimenter på bunnen. KI=6

Rune (4667) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 4, 2011
500ml bottle as Oxfordshire Organic 4.3% abv., thanks to Finn. Near-clear golden, one-finger white head quickly reduced to a filmy layer. Very moderate aroma of grassy hops. Modest taste profile of herbal hops, pale malts and citric fruits. Dry ending with a weak bitter support. Food friendly. Average minus (Tromsø, 04.12.2011).

500ml bottle (Gallows Bird, Espoo)
6 Blossomy floral aroma, with a touch of honey, but also some minerals.
3 Mid orange, decent head.
6 Simple taste, mostly matches the aroma. Not the usual eco grunge.
3 Refreshing palate, pleasant carbonation. Simple grainy finish.
13 Competent, but not exciting.

Chiswick (137) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 21, 2011
very thin yellow/orange liquid, has a interesting slight haziness. no head, just some drips of what was left of the pouring. aromascape is very thin. has a citrus hoppy scent, although very subtle. other aromas are grass, light malt, and floral scents. all of these still lack character and brign very little to the table. the taste does very little to contribute. has an unfounded bitterness and sweetness compared to the aromas.. or what can be found in them. a funny "ginger" sweetness brings a different side to the taste, but altogether very chaotic and unfounded. the palate doesn’t help here at all. the only good aspect is a nice "wash" that sweeps through your mouth, but still fails to bring taste to where it belongs. i was scared that a bottled organic beer would be a tough one even for ridgeway. i like this brewery very much but this failed to deliver.
