A very "dry" porter, lots of carbonation and to me very little flavor...and what flavor there was, wasn’t much to roght home about. If you like porters, there are better ones out there, but it maybe one to try to put on your list.

Aug 7, 2008 This was an okay brew... I’m not a big fan of Christmas beer, ’cause they end up being way overdone. I’d drink it again, because the ladies think it’s got a funny name, but I’d rather drink Satan’s Butt: taste the flames of eternal damnation!

Jul 26, 2008 Black with a red tint and the head disappears real quickly. Maltiness in the smell and taste but it was hard to pick up on the individual notes because the beer really lacked in overall flavor.

Jul 21, 2008 (50cl bottle - part of a gift pack) pours deep brown almost black with very little head. Aroma of roast malt. Flavor is roast slightly sweet malt. A decent if unspectacular porter.

Jul 20, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Clear warm reddish brown with a dense, beige head. Fruity aroma with some roasted malt. Medium body with lightly burned caramel, roated malt and fruit. Short lightly hoppy aftertaste. Very decent. 250308

Jun 20, 2008 Classy bottle. Pours very clean with a rich chocolatey colour. nice big fluffy brown head. aromas dominated by caramel and rich roasted malts. coffee, black cherry and licorice in the flavor. nice creamy texture.
