500cl Bottle from one of the supermarkets. Poured a hazy dark brown with a thin white broken head. The aroma is of red berry fruit and a little malt. The flavour is medium bitter, with a lovely mellow malty, fruity, nut palate. The finish is smooth and medium bitter. It’s like no other beer i’ve ever tasted.

Bottle. Chestnut beer with a small head and some lacing. Aroma of malts and toffee. Taste is malts, fruity hops, dry hops and toffee. I can detect a hint of rich fruits also. OK beer.

Bottle from somewhere near Kingstanding. Thin, brown. Fairly sweet malt. Some hardened biscuit, some leather, some Giant’s sweat. Average.

Pisses me off that this gets in every Asda in the country. What’s that all about. It’s simple marketing and sales. I hate PR. Stick that in Gabby’s pipe. This is very average bitter with a little sweetness in taste and a little soap in smell.
