A Ridley's beer, brewed at the Greene King brewery since late 2005.
Brewed April to June by Ridleys. Reduced to monthly May seasonal since the Greene King takeover.
A rich golden ale with a light floral aroma that balances a fresh, clean bitterness with a slightly sweet hop flavour.

Cask conditioned at The George, Borough. Gold amber, sl cloudy with off white head. This must be the most expensive pint I have paid for yet and to have it in poor condition beggars belief. In a pub full of rucksack wearing tourists spouting on about Reeyaall Alle they must wonder when the beer is as bad as this. Sluggish tired floral bitter.

Not retired! Had this at the Swan Islip 26-05-06 dark golden beer with a small white head, sweet and maybe folarl notes detected in the aroma, taste was of a fairly standard English bitter reasonably hoppy godd bitternes but not as good as I was hoping.

Retired?? On draught in the Blue Pig, 19/05/06. Chesnut red in the murk of my local. Harsh but quenching bitterness tempered with fragrant hops. Definite sessions potential. The kind of beer that would have made me wretch as a 12yr old sneaking a swig from my dad’s pint. Nicely balanced English bitter.

NIc eflavour, like yeast on bread but veyr thick the same. The foam is good cloudy, just how I like it in Ales.

[Ridley’s Prospect Golden Cask Ale]
Light and fading head. Orange dark color, nearly reddish, firm and limpid. Winy scent with rumors of withered grape and humid wood. Smooth and dry taste, decidedly hoppines and yielded on the end. Unusual with some fruit flavored particular notes.

Ridleys' version of a pale bitter. Nice gold colour. Quite fresh but a little unexciting on the nose and palate. Dry finish. Entirely acceptable, but straightforward. Handpump, Head of Steam, Euston, London NW1.

Murky golden colour, rank Elvis aroma (all-shook-up)….apparently it had just been put on….well it shouldn’t have. Back to the rating….it was pretty well flat. Dry and a bit sticky. I’ve had this better before as well. To be re-rated.

Sampled cask conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, Sweden.
Orange to golden in colour. Flowery aroma. Very dry and very hoppy. Clean with orange and toffee flavours and really bitter finish. Flavourful, but with bold mouthfeel.
