A hazy orange beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is very light, what is there is spicy with coriander being most dominant. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol and caramel, leading to a dry end.

A Sim rate (bottle courtesy of Reakt): Very obtrusive acidic aroma. I’m sure there’s some sweet fruit under the nail polish remover exterior. Amaretto in the flavour. Tastes like a copper penny dropped into an acidic drink (OJ?)... not that I do this on a regular basis to see what it tastes like, but this is what I’d expect it to be. Harsh at first, settling into a slighty sour fruit juice. Murky blonde/amber. Decent appearance. Bit of decorative lace.

Bottle from Drunken Geese or whatever that place was we stopped at in Belgium. Opaque amber with a white head. Nose is astringent with a white wine note and some yeast. Sweet and hoppy with noticeable alcohol and an almond finish. Quite gassy with an alcohol burn on the way down, not great...

Standard Belgian tripel. Bit too sweet for my taste, I like them more bitter and grassy.
