Bottle from Secret Summer Santa. Thanks! Hazy yellow colour, creamy white foam. Very fruity nose: grapefruit and flowers. Sweet/bitter taste with medium bitter finish. Well balanced and easy drinkable. A good German IPA!

Bottle from bier-deluxe.de. Orange, moderate hazy body, with a big, creamy, white head. Aroma of citrus, orange, passion fruit, grass, biscuit, candy. Tastes with about the same aromas, also slight pine notes. Mouthfeel is medium, oily, with a moderate carbonation and it finishes sweet, just slightly bitter, with biscuit, grass and fruit notes. Nice one. Very easy to drink, quaffable and with a nice, full malt backbone. As many German IPAs it is too sweet for my liking though.

Sehr gelungen!

Bottle, trade with McTapps. Light hazy yellow body with medium to high fluffy head. Aroma has light to medium floral character on the nose, moderate, honey sweetness in the background. Taste has medium fruity bitterness followed by some malty sweetness, on the side side really. Bitterness is high but quickly evading, given it to the sweet side with a really short bitter finish again, grassy after taste. Body is medium, medium to low carbonation. Decent beer.

Bottle @ @ #h-J14, 19/06/14. Poured orange, aroma is somewhat citrusy hoppy. Taste follows along the same lines. Didn’t really leave a mark, but definitely not bad either.

Bottle 0.33l. Pours almost cloudy orange yellow with off white head. Aroma is fruity, malty, resin, pine, grapefruit. Taste is medium bitter, light to medium sweet, grapefruit, citrus, malty. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, medium carbonation. Ok, bit too flat.

Gr0ve (2128) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 20, 2014
330 ml bottle. Hazy yellowish golden. Tall creamy white head that clings to the glass. Slightly oxidized. Clean floral hops. German hops perhaps? Actehaldehyde, lots of it. Fruity apple flavours. Soft and mellow malty flavours. Not at all bitter. Well balanced, but there are other flaws. Nice to see that German breweries start making IPAs too.

Bottle at the chriso Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013 - London. Pours cloudy gold with a creamy white head. Nice enough overall. Some tropical fruits, light bitterness, sweetness of pale bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with moderate sweetness, some mango, pine needles. Fair.
