2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
(33cl bottle, labeled as Riedenburger Glutenfrei) Hazy, pale golden colour with a short creamy white layer. Sweet and slightly sourish citrus-fruity nose with a light yeasty and stronger mouldy touch and something that I would describe as anise spice. Light-sweet and slightly sourish tart flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly yeasty, fruity (citrus, apricots) and malty taste; sourish fruity finish with late arriving and shy bitter and herbal hoppy notes. Not entirely bad, even drinkable for the style (04.XI.08).

2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
(Bottled) Opaque yellow-golden with a small, lightly lacy and mostly fading head. Wheaty-lemony aroma with fruitiness and corny hints. Flavor has nasty solventy notes with lemony fruitiness, and a strong, gingery-cardboardy burn. Leaves a dry and bitter, but not that pleeasant aftertaste. Light body with not much carbonation. The aroma was ok, but flavor is pretty nasty. I expected better than this, as the brewery is quite good.
