33cl bottle. Poured golden, slightly unclear with a white head. Aroma has grainy malt, grassy notes. Flavor similar, grassy hops, grain. Light bitterness in finish, also some buttery notes.

Pours clear golden color with small head. Aroma has lots of malts, grass, some potato and grain. Flavor of malts, mild fruits, grain and yeast. Quite malty pils.

Bottle. Pours cloudy straw yellow with a small white head. Aroma of floral hops, malt and yeast. Flavor is sweet and fruity with some malt, citrus, apples and yeast with bitter and dry finish. Medium body, average carbonation.

Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain and floral hops. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, courtesy of Maria. It pours a lightly unclear, quite pale golden body under a small, dense, white head leaving some lacings. Some grass and resins on the nose, with pale malts and a peppery touch. Medium body, quite dry, with a bit more carbonation than I’d like there to be. Some bitterness in the end, but there should be more of it all the way. Well, an honest beer it sure is. 120330

Pours a slightly unclear golden colour with a white head. Aroma of surprisingly strong grassy hops and honey. Flavour of strong grassy and bitter hops, grainy malts, citrus and sweet honey. Light bodied, high carbonation and a citrusy, bitter and grainy finish. I like the bitterness here and drinkability is good. Also, it seems that this is a fairly fresh bottle.

Aroma is light and slightly stale with some grassy hops, slightly sweet malt, hints of corn, butter and gooseberry bush. Flavour is sweetish and somewhat messy with some grassy hops, hay, corn, grain, and hints of butter. A bit too sweet, stale and messy – but the grassy hops are nice here.

33cl bottle. ok, white head. Clear golden pour. An ok pilsner.

A hazed pils with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet chalky malt with light cardboard notes. In mouth, a crisp smooth malt with light chalky notes, German hops, a bit oxidized but still solid. Bottle from Piscator, re-branded for Manitoba market as Herbsman Bavarian Organic Pils.

Bottle 33 cl as Moulin des moines Pils, a cloudy yellow beer with good head. Aroma is sweet malty with grassy and floral hops presence, quite cereal like, interesting body. Dry grassy hops at the finish, good malty notes.
