| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 20, 2009 Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Quack-Duck. Surprisingly hazy golden appearance. Mindblowingly pleasant hoppy aroma which is reminiscent of mandarin, candy, fresh cut grass, papaya, coconut, pineapple, oak, tarragon and a remarkable amount of wormwood. The taste is less expressive. Caramel, wormwood, fresh cut grass, mandarin, cigarette smoke, coconut and papaya showing up. Subdued bitterness. Medium bodied. Faintly flat palate. Very pleasant balanced finish which is salty, grassy with hints of dried apricot. The aroma is sublime, the taste is good. Nice balance between aroma hops and malt. I love the mandarin and wormwood components. A pils with plenty of character. Thanks a lot Quack-Duck! Quack-Duck (3417), Bodensee/Schwarzwald, Germany
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 2, 2009 bottle. Hazy yellow colour with a mid-sized white head. Malty with resiny hop flavours and a slightly fruity sourness, which is not too strong. Quite pleasant. Boutip (2452), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 18, 2009 Bottle: Poured a light golden color pils with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of grassy hops and lightly sweet malt is average at best. Taste is dominated by grassy notes which overwhelmed the rest of the characteristics. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad overall but just too much of this grassy feeling. fonefan (12484), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 24, 2009 Bottled sample labelled as "Herbsman Bavarian Organic Pils", but lists Riedenburger on the neck as the actual brewer. Hazy pale gold in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas of spicy and earthy hops, wet pilsner malts, and a bit of yeast and lemon rind. Flavors are of white bread dough, slightly dank sourish hops, mild wet stones, and a bit more yeast. A bit slick and watery on the palate, but the soft carbonation gives it a nice refreshing quality. Tastes fresh and unfiltered. The malt profile could be sharpened up a bit, but this is surprisingly good. Ljunkan (414), Karlstad, Sweden
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 22, 2009 Bottle. Riedenburger Pils Organic. Pours a hazy golden color with a nice white head which remains in the glass until the beer is finished, some lacing. Aroma is malty and lightly hoppy with hay and grass and some light yeast notes. Flavour is malty and a bit dry with notes of hay, grass, yeast and decent bitter finish. Smooth mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Pretty lightbodied but refreshing. Very drinkable, and worth a higher rating imho. I will definitely buy it again some time this summer. Finn (1548), Tromsø, Norway
