330ml bottle enjoyed in the streets of Urbino - Italy. A biological German Pilsener. Crispy and grassy. Slightly sweet upfront and light bitterness. I was expecting a little bit bitterer Pils. Light body. Average carbonation. Medium drinkability.

El aspecto no es de pilsener. Anaranjada, con poca espuma y muy turbia. Aroma herbal y algo citrico, muy lupulado. Tambien el sabor, muy floral y frutal, tapando buena parte de la malta, que es demasiado cereal.

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 2A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown. AROMA: grainy malt aroma with a very faint grassy hop note. clean lager profile. APPEARANCE: very pale straw color and very hazy with a lot of material in suspension. thin white head with poor retention. TASTE: watered down grainy malt flavour with some straw notes. low bitterness with a semi-dry finish. no hop flavour. PALATE: low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a very poor example of a german pils.

Carboration very low. Colour good for the style. The smell of grass, nothing special. The taste of malt-bread, slight smell of butter. Nothing interesting for me.

Bottle as Biere Bio Blonde Pilsner from Bio City, Nice. Hazy blond with a small carbonation and a thin bubbly head. Has a pilsner style with a dry aroma and texture, but not a lot of flavour. Quite fizzy.

Hazy yellow color with white medium-lasting head. Aroma is malty, cerealy and qith some hop traces. Taste is citric, with floral hops and malty. Slightly bitter aftertaste.

330 ml bottle as “Moulin des Moines Pilsner” bought at Organic Bliss in Causeway Bay.

Cloudy hazy pale golden colour with some dirt-like yeast sediments; One-quarter finger head and white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Moderate sticky lacing and zero carbonation; Light sweet aroma of malt, with thick white bread, strong dough, faint floral, yeast and thin grass; Very light sweet taste of malt, with thick bread, strong dough, dough sourness, yeast, lemon, moderate bitter hops and strawy grass; Mid to light body. Dry, thin and slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is immensely bready and doughty Pils malt in a slightly light body. The Pils malts is not as rich and compact like that of Duvel or other good German Pils, kind of loosen, but its thick and yummy bread and slightly sour dough makes me keep on sipping. No sweetness, yeasty and clean. Very neat… Hoppiness is faint floral and thin grass nose, lemon and strawy grassy taste. Bitterness is moderate for an abrupt, light astringent and bready finish; Very dry after taste. Bready and hoppy to mouth.

Comments: This one is a quite decent organic German Pils - bone-dry body, Pils malt is loose but expressively bready and doughty, no sweetness, matching moderate hops - I expected much worse based on what I’ve had with Riedenberger, it turns out to be quite okay, may be because it’s a proper Pils, not like their dodgy dinkelbiers or gluten-frees. Phew!

Bottle from posh supermercado, The Portugals, supped on terrace. Fogged gold with a crescent of head. Good sun baked pine, olive oil soap, lemon and crackers nose. Same flavour with added candied orange and lemon notes and a good dry rasp in the tail. Beats the sardine beaters hands down.

İçimi çok kolay,şerbetçiotu’nun acılığı kesinlikle hissedilmiyor.Özel bir yanı yok ama acı olduğu için Pils içemeyenlere ideal.
