Orangefarben, minimal trüb, satte Schaumbildung. Nelkenwürziges Aroma und leicht säuerlich im Hintergrund. Liquider Antrunk trotz hohen Alkgehalt, der gut eingebunden ist. Moderat weizig und malzig. Die Süße wird durch eine moderate Säure gut abgepuffert. Unkomplizierter Weizenbock, süffig aber wenig komplex.

[ BBF 05-2012 ]. Clear medium to dark orange colour with a huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, sweet malt, moderate to light heavy yeasty, fruity, sweet yeast, spicy - clove notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, riped fruit, fruity, alcohol, light yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120817]

Bottle. A quite clear one, amber in color and with a dense, two-finger off-white head. Fruity nose with both fresh and dried fruits. Some banana and a touch of caramel too. Rather thin on the palate, semi-sweet. The flavor too is lacking a bit, quite weak and uninteresting I think. There’s banana and caramel, some citrusy sourness, and a little touch of cloves, but nothing impressive. Well, at least it’s easy drinkable. 120817
