It’s dark amber with almost no head. The aroma is oxidated with notes of malt and light apple - very weak. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, light fruit, caramel and the finish is slightly dry. It lacks personality and power in the notes.

bottle from the brewery. Deep golden colour, small off-white head. Malty, caramel, honey, dark honey and roasted malts. There is a hoppy punch towards the finish that makes the beer quite spicy. Good.

Das Kleine Löschgerät, sent by pivnizub. Neutral, light sweaty nose. Orange bordering light chestnut, no head. Light malt, Grassy and herbal hops, a unfortunate chemical note, dusty. Medium body, mellow mouthfeel. Cardboardy finish. Ok wasnt terribly impressed here.

Bottle: Deep golden coloured, small foamy layer; sweet-malty nose with a touch of glue (or barnyard) and alcohol; moderate bitter sweet flavour, medium bodied; a bit lingering bitter-sweet finish a distinctive alcoholic touch. drinkable, but not very moreish.......

(33cl bottle, as “Das kleine Löschgerät”) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a small creamy, slightly off-white layer. Moderately sweet, slightly sweaty malt aroma with a tinge of DMS and alcohol. Sweet flavour with a light bitter edge, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Robust malty taste, also somewhat sweaty; sweet, malty finish with a moderate hop-bitter blend. Unconvincing pale Bock.
