It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, grain, light bread and fruit. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of bread, malt, fruit and onions, and the finish is slightly dry. As in Plössberger Landbier from this brewery - onion notes are not my favorite, but this is not as pronounced as in PL.

Hopfiger, süßlicher Geruch, vielleicht entfernt nach Trauben. Mild-hopfiger Start. Weich erscheinende und getreidige Mitte. Das Bier mündet in einen feinherben Abschied. Süffig und solide. Test vom 18.12.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Bottle: Pale golden coloured with a faint haze, small, quickly diminishing white head, traces of carbonation visible; sweet-malty and strawy nose with a good touch of "oaky" hops; mild sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; sweet-bitter finish with a shovel of spicy hops in the aftertaste. A solid, chewy Helles.......

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Slightly sweet and soft-grainy aroma with a light spicy hoppy note. Bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, pleasant carbonation. Pale malty, slightly grainy taste with a rural spicy touch; well-rounded malty and herbal hoppy finish with a tinge of barnyard in the lasting aftertaste.
