Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - JUN 13, 2013
33cl bottle at the brewery. Pours a crystal clear, straw yellow colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is lightly sweetened pils malts with some fruits, a light grass, and maybe a touch of diacetyl. Flavor is better. A nice grassy bitterness balanced throughout with a lightly sweetened pils maltiness. A few fruity notes towards the end before this finishes clean and dry with a moderate bitterness. Lengthy aftertaste following a light, smooth body and a crisp, moderately lively carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid pils. A slight DMS note on the nose, but the flavor was really solid. Bitter, but balanced with a nice, light malt sweetness. Good one.

Bamsen78 (3140) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 10, 2014
Draught @ Monks Porter House, Stockholm, as Monks Bavarian Pils. Pours clear light straw with small white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast, wit a subtle note of paper. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with subtle, sweetish, malty notes. Bitter and slightly cardboardlike aftertaste. Clean and well-balanced. Decent.

22-Apr-08 (500-ml bottle: Free sample bottle for stewarding the 2008 World Beer Cup in San Diego, CA) Grainy malt aroma pairs with spicy Noble hops, but it’s also a little cheesy, though this goes away in time. Malty, somewhat biscuity, minimally sweet, balanced by crisp, spicy, moderately bitter hops. Light-bodied, clean and crisp on the palate Pale golden in color and perfectly clear in appearance. Carbonation bubbles continue to rise long after the beer is poured, and that helps to keep the fluffy, white head at a thin, but complete layer. Ringed and doily-like patches of lace remain on the glass.

mile (2986) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 1, 2012
Draught at Monks Porter House, Stockholm (served as Monks Bavarian Pils). Light golden, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty – lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, faint grassy hoppyness. Body is medium, malty – lightly grainy and lightly sweetish flavor, light bread and light grassy hoppyness. Finish is average, malty – lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, light grassy hoppyness. Could be drier with more bitterness. OK but nothing special.

Draft @ Monk’s Porter House, Stockholm as Monks Bavarian Pils. Golden blond coloured beer with some medium carbonation and a medium but diminishing white head. Light fruity herby hinted aroma with some sweeter touches. Medium palate. Finish is sweet fruity and slightly hoppy bitter hinted. Not bad.

Dorqui (2105) - Brescia, ITALY - SEP 1, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 14, 2007 Draught at Garda Restaurant (Desenzano DG).
Creamy and compact head, good persistence. Golden yellow color, much limpid and with an optimal fizz. Fresh notes of cereals and grain with fresh grassy and straw final. Medium prickly taste, with good bitter and rumors of cereals and malt. Sufficient.
