May 1, 2008 Draft at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. A hazy amber beer with a cream colored head. The aroma is sweet spicy with what reminds me of Belgian yeast notes. The flavor is sweet malty and both very spicy and fruity.

Oct 18, 2007 Updated: Nov 16, 2007Draught at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy pale brown colour with a low creamy white foam. Sweet malty aroma of nuts. toffee, figs and brown sugar. Full malty flavour of nuts, Maurene, fudge, nuts, cookies and dad-es with estery undertones of wheat and very mild banana. Full bodied with no signs of alcohol flavour-wise. Malty sweet finish with an initially fresh hoppy sign of wet grass which is quickly overshadowed by dense generous toasted malts of fudge, nuts and anise. Really tasty!
