Schöne Flasche. Allerdings fuer mich ein bisschen wenig Aroma, das sich gegen die Bitterkeit stellt.

At FdB 2014. Poured hazy light golden with a white head. Aroma of bitter grassy hops, sweet grain and malt. Light body, flavour of the aroma, lightly sweet, medium bitter.

Laffes Pilsner, das wohl in die Richtung Hopfen und Zitrus gehen wollte, aber nur mit etwas Vanille, Roggen und Weizen punktet. Trinkbar, aber vollkommen langweilig.

Fresh and sparkling IPA, excellent for a summer bbq. A nice bitterness combined with a flowery and "lemonish" flavour.

Pours out of the bottle in a clear golden colour with low steady head and crisp body. Awful unfresh aroma of hops and dust. Taste of thin and bitter hops, rye, bread, citrus, leaves and acid. Finish of acid and water. Very unpleasant to drink, esp considering the high price. Clearly, this ain’t an APA - for me this was rather an average and boring Pils. And not a nice one either.

This is so not a pale ale. Please correct this in your data base. The scores may be totally misleading, too, it is incomparable to pale laes. Maybe it got misinterpreted because it uses an ale yiest (cervisiae). The closest I would say this is is Kölsch, but because it is not from Cologne, it cannot officially be called that (strange rules). Maybe ,Wieß’ is the right style -- unfiltered top-fermenting barley bier, totally clear, pale, strong bitter hops, mild aroma hops. Impression: this is great, it makes me want more, totally addictive. It tastes like a wet-hop Pils, not like high-fermenting, but that’s the art of Kölsch, right? Great, strong bitter hops that make it so addictive, and well-balanced aromas, not at all like fruity pale ales, but more like a Pils like you would hope for. First sip is relatively normal, but if you drink it cold, it becomes more and more addicitve, the bitterness not disturbing the overall yummy factor at all, but stimulating. Just as the taste dissipates, you will want another sip. I enjoyed this very much. I bought this by mail order in Germany.

Deliciously flowery aroma, plenty of hops and lasting bitterness. Alcohol isn’t noticeable.

Bottle 0.66l. Pours hazy yellow orange with white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy, some citrus, bread, spicy. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter, dry, hoppy, slightly fruity. Aftertaste is bitter, dry, medium carbonation. Dry and balanced ale. Good.
