COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Tap at Luigia pizza place, Geneva. A pale, yellowish weizen, fairly clear too. Flavour is light, mild spice and banana fruit. Very nice and drinkable, but personally i prefer the darker (Schneider or dunkel) weizen.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Pours a clouded yellow lemonade-like body with a small but lasting just off-white lacing head. Aroma is light lime-sour, wheat, orange zest, malts and spices. Quite nice. Average carbonation and a slick oily mouthfeel. Flavors also light almost grape-lime-sour with wheat, yeast, hints of butter and a dry finish. Light drinkable and quite refreshing, but perhaps a bit to thin and watery.

bottle from biershop-bayern.de. Cloudy pale yellow, incredibly persistent and beautiful, creamy white head. Yeasty aroma. Medium-bodied, quite whetay, yeasty, slightly fruity. Very shy banana flavours, hints of lemon. Lively carbonation, yet smooth palate. A beauty.

Draught. High creamy lasting white head. Hazy yellow body. Powerful banana apple pear aroma. Lovely fresh and crispy lemon apple pear flavor with high carbonation and a long aftertaste.

Bottle @ Italy. Pours hazy yellow with a small creamy white head and lacings. Sweet nose of wheat, banana and orange. Medium body and carbonation. Balanced flavor - not too sweet. Okay.

It is a hay light-gold wheat. The smell is clovey. The flavor is very lemon/clovey with some sweetness. I guess I prefer the Hefeweizen done a bit differently.

Tap@Monks Porterhouse, Stockholm. Pours hazy deep pale amber with a big stiff head leaving nice lace. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, bananas, citric, cereal and just fresh. Very fresh acidy and fruity mouthfeel. Flavor is like aroma, lean in mouth, great weisen. Love this stuff. Finishes with a nice fruity, cereal and slightly bitter aftertaste.
