Draught at Monks Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm. Great beer! Deep, hazy yellow colour with big steady foam. Lots of want we want here. Fruity esters and solid phenols. Mouthfeel is juicy, yet herbal. Lots going on. Big body with juicy maltiness and slight astringency in mouthfeel, but that may pass due to the fantastic maltiness. Really tasty beer from all perspectives!

Bottle. Banana, lemon, clove and wheat malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow color with large white head ad strongly effervescence. Slightly sweet lemon, light banana, clove, and light mild wheat malt flavor. Medium body. Pretty good - a nice one for German beer #2000 and wheat beer #800.

Cloudy golden orange pour with a white head. Nice banana aroma with plenty of clove and a hint of bubblegum. Some sweet bread malt aromas and a hint of citrus. The flavor is nice and refreshing with lots of banana, clove, bread, and a hint of citrus. A mild yeast flavor in the background. Very nice and easy drinking.

draught at Monks on Sveavägen. Has a weak taste of foam banana. Crisp and refreshing taste. Very smooth taste but there is something missing. Its not as good as several other wheat beers on the market. Although not bad either. It just feels like there is a lacking ingredient. Or maybe it just needs more of everything.

Tap@Monks Porterhouse, Stockholm. Pours hazy deep pale amber with a big stiff head leaving nice lace. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, bananas, citric, cereal and just fresh. Very fresh acidy and fruity mouthfeel. Flavor is like aroma, lean in mouth, great weisen. Love this stuff. Finishes with a nice fruity, cereal and slightly bitter aftertaste.
