Tap at the Bräustüble in Donaueschingen. Clear golden body, creamy white head. Nice and very doughy nose, sweet in the mouth with an almost bubblegum/clove-tinged doughiness. Light light body but moreish. Has the residual fruitiness I also picked up in some of the Fürstenberg beers [ed. - well, duh, if they’re all brewed at the same place].

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Bottle from Rewe, Wiesloch
Blond color.
I was expecting maybe another lame beer, instead it reveals a very nice aroma, at least much better than the average bottled beer, with crispy malt and hops; some cereals too. Then, let’s go back to Earth: it has a dry mouthfeel, with a quite simple flavor of cereals, straws; correct bitterness, but without hop qualities. Not bad.
