16oz can via the Mystery Box BIF. Pours a murky, opaque black with some creamy, brown head. Nose is a mix of molasses, licorice, roasted grains, mild coffee bean, some brown sugar, quite a bit of bread crust, even a little wet earth. Flavor is a bit more straight forward, malty, mild brown sugar, molasses, coffee, burnt toast, bread crust. Dry finish. Very drinkable, but I would like a bit more coffee.

Can at home. Pours very dark brown. Aroma is roasty and lots of coffee. Two fingers of creamy tan head. Flavor is roasted almost burnt coffee. Good bittering. Nice dark chocolate also. Creamy texture. Nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very strong coffee taste, wish it had a higher octane level, but the flavor is insane. Rich and deep colors. You can smell the coffee nibs right away

can. pours very dark brown with a small beige cap, reviving and leaving nice lacing. fresh roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, touch of milk chocolate and its light lactosey notes, minerals - never ashy, nice roasted profile, coca-cola, some red fruitiness. light carbonation, light body - oily, could be stouter, semi-stout grassy-resinous-coffee softly lingering finish. tasty and good coffee stout.

Can. Strong aroma of coffee and roasted malt. Pours black with thick tan head. Medium-heavy body, moderate carbonation, and creamy texture. Sweet, chocolate flavors up front, followed by coffee-infused bitterness. Very nice!

Holy crap the aroma on this is HEAVENLY! So much coffee. The flavor has a really solid coffee bitterness balanced very well by the sweetness of the stout. Really damn good!

Bottle... Pours black with a small, creamy, beige head. The aroma is an assortment of nuts, dark chocolate, big espresso and an odd whisper of jalapeno. Medium-bodied and watery with modest carbonation. The flavor is a strange mix of weak coffee and green chilies. Thin overall. This one may have spent too much time in my cellar. On tap at HopCat in GR. Pours nearly black with only a thin head. Aroma is roast, coffee and some chocolate. The taste is dominated by bitter cold coffee. Medium body and carbonation. Decent stout.
