Great stout. Better on tap but bottles are good. Glad to see cans showing up. Easier to buy

Light coffee flavor. Not the robust coffee, oatmeal or espresso as I expected. Good coffee malt flavor but a bit bland finish for me. I imagine on tap this would be much better.

22 ounce bottle poured a dark brown color, almost black color with aromas of coffee, espresso, earth and some light vanilla. Flavors are the same a nice coffee espresso flavor that seems cold pressed. A nice stout, but had a thin mouth feel.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: black as night with a frothy, light mocha cap that takes its time receding down towards the dark brew. Aroma is great; deep coffee, bitter roast, light creamy sweetness, bittersweet cocoa beans, light oats... Heaviest aroma is coffee. Roasty iced coffee with very light cream. Mouth feel is a let down; far too thin and watery, leads to a quickly dissipating flavor. Tastes of coffee beans, light cream, mild brown sugar, roasted malt. Aftertaste of mild cocoa, coffee, & nuttiness. Aroma was promising, but this needs to be more robust in body & flavor.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had on-tap at Terryís Terrace in Harrison Township, Michigan for $6.95 a pint.
Appearance: Pitch black. Tan and frothy head... boy is the appearance section of reviews getting redundant... especially for stouts! The lacing is what really makes this beer, though... basically a wall of lacing through the majority of the beer. Above average.
Smell: Espresso/coffee. Through and through. Thatís really it. Roasty coffee and espresso... what else should I say? One dimensional, but itís what I expected given the beerís description, and it didnít disappoint.
Taste: Espresso/coffee. The oatmeal in this beer adds a silkiness to the mouthfeel, too. Man... this is an easy drinking, tasty beer. Good or bad, whatever youíd consider it, this drinks like a cold, black cup of coffee. A really delicious coffee-forward stout that goes down easy and is very enjoyable.
My first from Right Brain, and it wonít be my last. Iím sure my minor buzz has something to do with my elevated ratings for this beer, but dammit, I donít think itíd be much, if any, different if I were completely sober. A stout for the coffee/espresso fan, without a doubt.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bomber into a stout glass. Pours a dark brown with hints of red with a nice mocha colored head, leaving minimal lacing on the glass. The scent is very coffee heavy, with notes of roasted malt. The taste is very similar, but it is a little overly carbonated, and the mouth feel is too thin for a stout. I understand it's a 5.9% stout, but it's too thin for the stout profiles

22oz bottle. Pretty sure I got this from Super Liquor III. Shared with Kevin. Black color. Good thin light brown head. Nice short ropes of lace. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Nice, chewier texture. Nice huge coffee roast flavor. Some dark bitter chocolate. Good stronger bitter taste. Lighter bitter sweet. Awesome bitter roasty coffee taste, without being too heavy. Impressively good standard - slightly coffee stout. Very nice potent coffee flavor profile.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Brewery bottle from July. Nice looking dark pour with a firm tan head. Aroma is reminiscent of cold espresso with a hint of cream. Flavor does have the bitter chocolate, espresso and oatmeal character to it. Thinner mouthfeel but a touch silky too. I like the lighter ABV too. Good.

Aroma of coffee. Nothing but delicious coffee. Pours black with very little head. Tastes like coffee. Nothing but delicious coffee. Mouthfeel is thin but roasty. Very pleasant coffee stout.
