Tasted from a bomber. It poured dark brown with a frothy tan to light brown head. Toasted malt aroma with hints of nutty coco. Taste of coffee and malt with some chocolate. A deap flavorful brown ale. I bought this one a couple months ago, and hope that this rateing does it justice.

Bomber that I picked up in July, drove around all summer with and finally opened tonight. I stored it well, but itís got some miles on it. Pour is a decent cola brown with active carbonation and a fizzy head. Aromas are further indication that nothing has gone bad here - some mild chocolate and a little bit of earthy scent. Flavor is simple but good for the style. Mild chocolate and autumn leaves with some nuts and earth. A bit muted and washed out, but good enough to make me glad I picked this one up when I was up in Godís country this summer.

Pours a nice-looking brown with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is very faint, perhaps roast and caramel, but I canít quite tell. Flavor is even meeker, with very light hints of caramel, roasted malts, some bitter chocolate, and even a touch of spice - maybe. There really isnít much to this. It gets a bit sour at the bottom, with some sediments awaiting the last sips. Those last sips were just awful. This is a mostly flavorless, bad brown ale.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2014 Bottle: Thanks, Jason! Very, very deep brown body with a foamy, gray & beige head that plumes up large & settles down quite slowly. Aroma is a little strange, contains notes of nuts, cotton, earth, dirt, & a slight woodsiness. Pretty muted overall. Unfortunately the first sip shows that the beer is likely infected... Faint notes of nuts, grains, wood, & cocoa powder. Sadly, thereís an awkward fruit skin astringent tartness & big acetone flavor that throws everything off. It wasnít so bad that it was undrinkable... but it was a little painful. Iíd like to try this one again fresh.

22 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 9/10/2013. Pours slightly hazy dark brown color with a nice 2 finger dense tan head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big caramel, chocolate, toast, toffee, molasses, nuttiness, brown bread, light roast, herbal, and toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/nutty malt notes; with good strength. Taste of caramel, chocolate, toast, toffee, molasses, nuttiness, brown bread, light roast, light herbal, and toasted earthiness. Minimal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, chocolate, toast, toffee, molasses, nuttiness, brown bread, light roast, and toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, balance, and robustness of dark/nutty malt flavors; with zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a moderately creamy and smooth mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent brown ale! All around great balance, complexity, and robustness of dark/nutty malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Had a sampler at the local tap takeover. The description stated it would have a chocolate taste. I did not taste chocolate to it. Almost tasted like a light coffee porter, except for being lighter in body and a light finish. Initial spell was of coffee. After the initial shock of the taste (not what I was expecting at all) I did like it better, but overall not a fan.
