COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Thin mint cookie, meet John Niedermaier A stout made with organic locally-grown whole leaf mint. She’s just back from a stint in the cooler for being too naughty. She might have mellowed out but this stout is still naughty at heart.

(draft @ HopCat - Grand Rapids, MI) Dark brown with a tan head. Chocolate and mint along with roasted malts and coffee in the aroma. Smooth mint taste with a nice chocolate backbone and a minty, bitter finish.

Poured with a nice thick head. Nose was great and smelled like a chocolate mint cookie. Taste was chocolatey at first then all of the sudden the awful fake peppermint extract grabs your tongue and doesn't let go for minutes after sipping. I will add this to the list of disappointing beers RB has put out.

Julie says yuck 2.6. It was a fake mint and had no chocolate it smelled better than it tasted. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, mint and light vanilla. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of dark chocolate, mint, light vanilla and light earthiness with a smooth lingering chocolate mint finish.

Bottle thanks to Alex. Pours a cloudy brown with small beigr hrad. The aroma is strong mint chocolate and wood. Thin mouthfeel with nice mint leaf, light roast chocolate. Good.

The Naughty Girl Scout pours black with a creamy dark tan brown head that lasts a good while and is easily agitated. The aroma is fresh mint, almost like a minty mouth wash. The flavor is pretty dominated by the mint, but chocolate is also present. Overall this is a pretty solid beer.

Got a growler as a gift. Pours dark with a chocolate milk head. Smells faintly of mint. As the beer gets closer to room temperature the mint comes through a bit better. Not a heavy stout, but it delivers what it promises....a thin mint tasting beer.. The finish is too watery for my taste. Wish it was more of a milk stout - I think that would improve it overall.

Notes of mint, chocolate, and coffee. Pours black with light head. Tastes like a thin mint cookie and is really good!

This beer is being served at "The Avenue" in Lansing. I got a bit in a snifter, and tasting it after having a short’s amber ale of some sort that I can’t recall the name of right now. It is a bit on the light side for a stout, which results in the lowish marks for appearance and palate. That being said, it does have a nice bouquet, sort of a bit of licorice, chocolate, and a hint of mint but just on the end of things, and not a bad note to end on at that. It’s also not crazy on the ABV so you can have one or two and not have to call a designated driver. That being said, spring is here, and triples are what I am craving…
