COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made with crystal clear water from Lake Michigan, but never watered down. Weíve searched around the world and have yet to find a beer quite like this. A brilliant straw-colored ale, with a crisp and clean body, subtle malty profile, and satisfying finish reminiscent of a honey-dipped biscuit.

UPDATED: JUN 23, 2014 Pours a lemon yellow with a white foam head. Has an aroma of honey and bread/wheat. Flavor is subtle wheat and some lemon, with a light touch of bitterness. Not a whole lot of flavor, but this is a decent tasting light beer with a low abv (3.8% according to the can).

Tap at the score, aroma is like mild pledge, taste seems a bit stale, just not very good.

Pour from a 16oz can. Hazy pale yellow with white head, good lacing on the glass. Aroma of dough with bits of citrus and grass. Taste is doughy malt at the start with lemony overtones, lemon and mild grass in the finish. Average palate, Clean and well crafted.

Very light straw yellow colored, ever so slightly cloudy pour with a half inch of fluffy white head. Aroma is very light, sweet apples maybe with some corn and metallic noble hops. Very soft carbonation, fluffy mouthfeel, crisp slightly sour finish. Flavor is light and indistinct, flavor of envelope adhesive, subtle peach and apple, sour malts. Forgettable overall, points off for cloudiness.

16 oz. can from shrubber85- thanks again, Roger! Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a big frothy white head that laces the glass. Notes of straw, grains, lemon, grass, dough, and light florals. Light-bodied, with high carbonation and a dry, crisp, refreshing mouthfeel. Good cream ale.

Instant drain pour. I donít want to seem like Iím slamming a beer, but this really was undrinkable. Flavors of cheap grains, dirt and old lemons.

From a 16 oz. can at Lions game. Looks like a bland lawnmower beer, and smells like one too. Guess what? It tastes like one too. Flavor is of water and wet grain. Slight sweetness, in a sort of mealy way. Way below average. Never again, not worth the price premium over macro lagers.

Bland, but smooth taste and decent body for a low ABV brew. Some hop bitterness in aftertaste.

16 ounce can into pint glass, no can dating. Pours lightly hazy golden straw color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, pear, cracker, corn, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with clean and balanced malt, yeast, and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, cracker, corn, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Light earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, cracker, corn, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice clean, robust, and balanced pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 3.8%. Overall this is a very good cream ale style. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Sampled from a can, this ale had a pale straw yellow-gold pour with no to little haze until the latter part of the can is poured when more haze was noticed, and the pour made a small head of white bubbles that receded to a ring and some islands, it had aromas of light biscuit malt and bread, a little grain, light grass and spice hops, and a malt and sugar sweetness, it had flavors of some malt, bread and a touch of grain, light hops and very little sweetness, the finish was pretty dry with a faint bitterness, there was little to no sweetness, it had a little crispness to it, the mouth feel was light, this beer was easy to gulp, it had average carbonation, this beer had a light nose and flavor and not as sweet as I was expecting for a cream ale, it had little sweetness in the flavor which makes this drink a great beer for a hot day, a nice drink for working in the yard, a good drink.
