2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Found this 50cl can in a supermarket in Ste Maxime on the South of France: cracked it at my mates holiday villa on 17 Sep 2013.
Poured into two tumblers: golden, bright and light, small white head, very lager/pilsner like in appearance.
The nose was both yeasty and hoppy, the taste more grainy in nature. Semi-dry feel to the brew and the alcohol wasn’t too pronounced. I thought it would be sweeter, but compared to the Amsterdam Navigation and Kronenbourg 7.2 Blonde it wasn’t sweet at all (Ant and I were having a heavy can tasting session).

Not so exiting as I have thought but quite nice and great to drink as any Belgian beer is.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light coriander, orange, and grass. In mouth, a nice Belgian ale with sweet fruity malt, peaches, curacao, very classic. On tap at Downtown Brew fest LV 2013.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap. Pale yellow, thin white head. Grain in the nose, almost like wet leaves on an autumn day but not as musty. Mostly high alcohol sweetness in the mouth which carries through in the finish, with some underlying wheat hints. Barest hint of hops upfront. Typical for me and during beers the high alcohol sweetness means I don’t really like it much.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33cl bottle, bb10/2013. Clear golden , thick lacing white head. Sweet apricots in aroma at first, toffee notes, vanilla on top. Flavor has toffee, sweet fruityness, yeast and the same vanilla-like notes lingering in the quite sweet long finish. Alcohol is nicely hidden, making it almost too sweet. Quite pleasant.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330 ml. bottle. Pours a clear yellow colour, with a small head that doesn’t hold much, but leave a ring. Smell is faint, but there’s some vanilla, sugar and flowers. Creamy palate, good enough cabonation. Taste of sugar, citrus, biscuit. Kind of goes from delicate to average and to delicate again. I’ll have to taste it again for a definitive opinion.
