Bottle - golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma of malt, wheat, yeast, orange and cloves. Taste of yeast and cloves, followed by nutmeg cinnamon, lemon and wheat. A little bitterness in the end. Light body, medium carbonation. It was okay.

33 cl bottle. Thanks rosenbergh!
Pours clear golden color with a huge white head. Yeast and spices on the nose, mild toffee, some malty notes and orange also. Fruity flavor, mild grassy notes as well, some yeast, spices and some alcohol. Sweetish sourish palate. Decent but a bit simple.

A clear yellow body with loads and loads f large specks of yeast floating around. Nose has notes of citrus fruits, figs, raisins and molasses. Taste is quite sweet but finishes in a long, smooth bitterness. Carbonation is just above average and the mouthfeel is surprisingly light. A decent beer but a bit simplistic.

Une robe pâle, une amertume décevante . Une finale longue et amère ou l’alcool domine . Je n’ai pas apprécié cette bière et je suppose que même en été l’alcool domine trop pour être agréable quand soif se fait .

The aroma is of bread-like malt, with citrusy hops. The taste is mostly balanced, but a bit sour. A good refreshing beer, but not quite as great as I hoped.

33cl bottle. Clear golden colour with a thin white head. Straw, floral hops, light caramel and yeast in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is sweet at front with some bitterness coming afterwards and finishing in a medium long sweetness. Overall, an average beer with no character apart from the label and the (high) price.

Review: Can of Rince Cochon, 8.5%ABV The Blond Beer of Flanders that used to be a French blonde. This is a beer fermented with a high degree of alcohol and its content is manufactured from water, malt and hops. On pour we get a rather delicious looking beer, the colour was a very nice clear golden yellow colour with a decent sized frothy white head with good lacing. After a long day at work I couldn’t wait to devour this beer! A strong smell of lemon, a sweet citrus aroma, some malts, with slight earthy notes. At over 8% the alcohol was very noticeable on the nose. As expected you get a very strong taste, hits the senses pretty quick Got an initial creamy taste, sweet, in fact very sweet taste of malts, with an acidic fruity after taste. An interesting balance of flavours and tastes, to give a well rounded drink. Definitely a strong beer, a slightly creamy feel in the mouth, and overall fairly drinkable, and tasty.
