Golden colored pour with a white head. Nose is sweet and sugary. Some pear, apple, and banana fruit notes, perhaps some golden raisin. There’s a decent spice note, some yeast, and straw. Highly sweet flavor of sugar, pear, and apple. Mild banana and raisin. Light clove, pepper, and a touch of alcohol on the finish.

Bottle , bought in Belgium last year. Nice head but didn’t hold . Way to sweet , nothing special about this one. Another under average Belgian. Won’t try it again.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a golden-blonde with a quick white head and some lingering foamy lacing. Nose is the usual belgian fruitiness with light hops, a touch of spice, and a little skunk. Flavor is a bit underwhelming; the usual blonde belgian strong notes of oranges and sugar, but a lot of stale hops and even a little unpleasant booze, despite not being all that high ABV. Finish is very fast. Drinkable but boring.

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2013 Belle robe dorée, goût fortement sucré et un peu fruité. Agréable à la pression quand on a la chance de la trouver. Moins sympa en bouteille.

Peach, white grape, funky malt and carbonation, very heavy carbonation, bordering on the mouthfeel of a champagne. Tastes like a big glass of bubbles.
