3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Seems to have several entries for one beer. Mine is from nv Roman. Aroma of green grapes and yeasty esters. Pale yellow, huge head and spastic carbonation, like a cheap lager someone shook up and it exploded. Sweet, sugary fruit flavor primarily, also some earthy herbal notes. Essentially a very strong saison, doesn’t quite fit as a French ale. Body is light and zesty. This beer can cause the hick-ups. Where does Marty get this stuff?...from Eurobrew apparently.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(750ml bottle) clearish gold, lasting soapy offwhite bubbles. Nose of sawdust, grapes, white wine, oak. Taste of white wine grapes, but esters and papery, not my favorite.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap. Clear yellow pour with a thin white head. Aroma is floral, honey, sweet. A bit of Belgian character, but not much. Flair is honey, sweet, slightly spicy. A little cloying. Meh.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft @ Thirsty Moose, Portsmouth, NH. Snifter shows a completely clear piss yellow color. Strong head retention lining the sides on the way down. The nose is only one thing: fruity Belgian yeast. Flavors are really light and weak; Pilsner or pale malts, honey and light yeast. The alcohol is nicely hidden; yet this brew lacks any kind of real character or depth. Thin body, kind of watery on the palate. Simple brew that could be refreshing on a summer day. Don’t expect a highly complex Belgian with this brew.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Common Belgian combination of sweetness and bitterness - caramel and spices. Yet quite dull and heavy, leaves a musky aftertaste. I like the thirsty pig in the label - très sympa.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
33cl bottle poured into a tulip glass.
Clear deep hay color with a nice fluffy white head.
Grainy nose, with light fruitiness, spicy hops, some coriander and faint sulfur.
Bready flavors, light malt, spice, medium bitterness, apricot and citrus notes.
Pretty clean and balanced, dry enough, alcohol is nicely hidden and the beer is actually quite decent for its style.

Poured on draft. Semi hazy gold with a white head of foam. Aroma is earthy and estery. Taste is lightly sweet with a touch of spice. Not bad. Medium body and lasting finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden colored pour with a white head. Nose is sweet and sugary. Some pear, apple, and banana fruit notes, perhaps some golden raisin. There’s a decent spice note, some yeast, and straw. Highly sweet flavor of sugar, pear, and apple. Mild banana and raisin. Light clove, pepper, and a touch of alcohol on the finish.

Bottle , bought in Belgium last year. Nice head but didn’t hold . Way to sweet , nothing special about this one. Another under average Belgian. Won’t try it again.
