3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330 ml. bottle. Pours a clear yellow colour, with a small head that doesn’t hold much, but leave a ring. Smell is faint, but there’s some vanilla, sugar and flowers. Creamy palate, good enough cabonation. Taste of sugar, citrus, biscuit. Kind of goes from delicate to average and to delicate again. I’ll have to taste it again for a definitive opinion.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Arrived as beer number five in Rory’s Belgian Ale beer fest. By this time I just found it funny. Little bit sweet without any hop or malt complexity, maybe.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Tasted 19/3/15. BB 15/04/2016. Poured a crystal clear amber colour with a one-finger white foamy head that retained OK and laced OK. Carbonation moderate and fine. Aroma malty with no obvious bitterness. Taste of sweet caramel with no real bitterness; alcohol well hidden. Aroma and taste light considering high ABV. Light body. Smooth, soft, crisp but best drunk cold/cool. Another macro-lager style.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Crystal clear medium golden body with a white head. Strong aroma of pale malts, grain, Belgian yeast and generic light fruits. Moderate flavour of far too much sweet warming alcohol, pale malts, grain, caramel, Belgian yeast and vanilla on a spicy background. Moderate sweet and light bitter. Full body, moderate carbonation, a bit cloying. I’m not convinced.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
50cl can from the Simply Market in France: This one pours a crystal clear, light golden yellow color. There was a bit of a white head on it that left some lacing. Surprisingly light aroma for an 8.5% beer. It is a bit musty and grainy. Maybe a touch peppery. The taste is rather non-descript. It tries to have some tripel notes (yeasty, clove, etc.) but they are in the background. A bit of alcohol, notes of adjuncts. Just strong with minimal flavor. I guess it serves a purpose...
