Very light Belgian funkiness over aroma of sweet bread. Brilliantly clear straw yellow beer with foamy tall white head and great lacing. Initial impression is sweetness. But very tolerable due to generous carbonation. Very slight bitter finish. Almost some lemon citrus character. Medium body. Nice mouthfeel. Not very complex but quite refreshing and well balanced.

Tasted 19/3/15. BB 15/04/2016. Poured a crystal clear amber colour with a one-finger white foamy head that retained OK and laced OK. Carbonation moderate and fine. Aroma malty with no obvious bitterness. Taste of sweet caramel with no real bitterness; alcohol well hidden. Aroma and taste light considering high ABV. Light body. Smooth, soft, crisp but best drunk cold/cool. Another macro-lager style.

tfredvik (1277) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 25, 2015
Crystal clear medium golden body with a white head. Strong aroma of pale malts, grain, Belgian yeast and generic light fruits. Moderate flavour of far too much sweet warming alcohol, pale malts, grain, caramel, Belgian yeast and vanilla on a spicy background. Moderate sweet and light bitter. Full body, moderate carbonation, a bit cloying. I’m not convinced.

50cl can from the Simply Market in France: This one pours a crystal clear, light golden yellow color. There was a bit of a white head on it that left some lacing. Surprisingly light aroma for an 8.5% beer. It is a bit musty and grainy. Maybe a touch peppery. The taste is rather non-descript. It tries to have some tripel notes (yeasty, clove, etc.) but they are in the background. A bit of alcohol, notes of adjuncts. Just strong with minimal flavor. I guess it serves a purpose...

Très bonne bière apéritive, forte et bien ronde. Bue régulièrement à la pression au bar La tête à l’envers, Vincennes, France.

Bottle - golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma of malt, wheat, yeast, orange and cloves. Taste of yeast and cloves, followed by nutmeg cinnamon, lemon and wheat. A little bitterness in the end. Light body, medium carbonation. It was okay.

33 cl bottle. Thanks rosenbergh!
Pours clear golden color with a huge white head. Yeast and spices on the nose, mild toffee, some malty notes and orange also. Fruity flavor, mild grassy notes as well, some yeast, spices and some alcohol. Sweetish sourish palate. Decent but a bit simple.
