Nose has some light apple, a bit of spices. This is more pronounced on the palate, which is white wine like in its crisp dryness and only minor sweet pear and apple notes accentuated by pepper. Overall, a lighter drinking beer than the style or ABV would imply; I kind of think my score undersells the beer a bit, but its just not robust enough to merit higher marks.

Bouteille 33cl, V&B Grenoble.

Bottle shared by Dan n thanks. Lasting light pink head over a clear red amber color. Big almond aroma but just a tuch of cherries. Sweet and a bit artificial sweetner taste.

No detail information about the hops and malts on the label. Clear golden beer with small white head, yeast is dominated, typical Belgian Style, thin, I miss here the body and the character from this beer, light herb, finish is very short, (I have 0.33l bottle with best-before L16/06/17 13:59)

Meh. This is not a bad beer, I’d say it’s trying to be a good belgian one, but it fails shortly to deliver something really pleasant to me. Alcohol level is interesting, but too present in mouth in my opinion. I can’t really enjoy this beer for that specific reason. Aftertaste is not especially remarkable, once again, a strong alcohol feeling all the way, but not much more, it tends to surprise you however considering its surprisingly drinkable beside the average taste, so watch out. You might like it, it’s not bad, especially if you enjoy strong beers, but it’s definitely not my cup of tea. PARTIALLY APPROVED BY TAVERNY’S BLACK METAL CREW!

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. clear deep gold colour lasting white head. sweetish Belgian ale aroma. It’s fine. A standard Belgian ale. No faults. Some hop some sweetness. It’s fine. Nothing exciting but perfectly drinkable. Would happily drink it.
