taunusmies (230), Finland Apr 20, 2008 Pours clear with dark golden colour and a small white head. Malty aroma, some grassy hops which give a slightly bitter taste. Thin, dull mouthfeel. Dry, metallic aftertaste.
gunnfryd (2716), Kristiansand, Norway May 4, 2008 Can, Dark golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, fruit, malt. Flavour is sweet, fruit, malt, caramel, hint of hop. Boring beer. Furseth (1105), Kungälv, Sweden Apr 22, 2008 Can: clear red7colden colour, with a flat head. Aroma is sweet, malty, citric, grainy/grassy. Flavor is sweet, and nice maltynes, plesant, but is has a typical norwegian pilsner touch, mabee moore sweet, but that all. Some dry hopyness in the ned. Thin body, short finish. Bigespen (19), Bagn, Norway Mar 18, 2008 A industrial beer with some flavour, and it is quite plesant on the nose, even though it lacks intensity. The palate lacks concentration and it has a low bittenress level. A boring beer, bot not a bat glass yngwie (3394), Kristiansand, Norway Mar 8, 2008 Can. A clear, golden beer with a fluffy off-white head, diminishing rather quickly. Quite fruity nose with an evident, underlying sweet maltyness. Slightly grainy too. The flavor is quite pleasant, unoffensive and rather boring, with malts, some caramel, sweetness, fruity notes and a weak bitterness. Medium to thin mouthfeel. Sweet, fruity finish. It’s sure not a bad beer, but it’s dead boring, surely made to fill the shelves in the stores with beers from Ringnes. They might say it’s a transition beer, but it’s just a pilsner with a little more color and flavor than their regular pilsner. (080308)
