3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Medium white creamy head; clear chestnut brown body. Aroma of sweet malts and some hops, with hints of roastiness. Taste is clean, light and sweet, faintly watery, with some maltiness and faint roastiness. Aftertaste is pretty faint. A well-made beer, having nothing wrong with it, but definitely intended to please the Norwegian market by tasting as little as a Christmas beer could possibly get away with.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Fine amber, small head. Fine, quite full flavour, roasted malt, sweetness - candy sugar - and a solid bitterness in the finish. I was pleasantly surprised.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap. Copper brown with a small, offwhite head. Fruity hop aroma, hints of nuts. Fruity flavours, good bitterness, dry, slightly harsh finish. Rather light-bodied. As good as it gets from Ringnes?

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JUL 16, 2006 330 ml bottle. Reddish brown colour, good head. Moderate toffee sweetness, moderately spiced flavour: cloves, cardamom, nutmeg. Not too bad, but of course its watery compared to the "klasse F" Juleĝl.
