Clear dark red brown color with a tiny tan head. Caramel aroma, light sweetness with a soft carbonation, short bitter finish. It’s a shame norwegian stores aren’t allowed to sell stronger beer, that’s the only reason this exists

50 cl aluminium can from Eurospar Langnes Tromsø - a great supermarket with orderly display of beers. 2012; bright n tight caramel-white head, diminishes on a dark amber brown body. Some lacing. Scents of dark malts, pine needles, chocolate box, apple peel. Tastes sweet dark malts, sour grass, faint hops, butter, a tiny tiny nut. Very smooth and a bit watery in the mouth, low carbonation. Semi dry at last, with some roasted malt. 2013; about same appearance and scents as 2012. Tastes sweet dark malts, apple peel, very faint hops, hints of cinnamon, butter. Even less carbonation than 2012. Ends half dry, some dark bread, roasted malt, nutty butter, a tiny "smørbukk". Overall decent "Yuletide" beer, but lacks some spices and some carbonation.

God duft av rosiner, krydder og nøtter. Lite skum. Frisk smak av rosiner og krydder. Et godt øl som tåler å stå litt. Denne lå inne med best før Sep 2011 og er trolig fra 2010.

30.11.2008, 0,33l Bottle. The colour is amber pale brown. The aroma is thin malty. From the colour of this I expected more taste. Very low on hops, both aroma and bitternes.

Bottle enjoyed at home
Deep copper brown, 1 cm tanned head. Smells of caramel, burned malts and hints of rubber. Taste is quite light for the color, quite drinkable too with some sweetness. , but not enough to make it a balanced beer. A little dry on the palate and a bitter finish

Can. Pours a clear, amber golden with a big off-white head. Sweet cereal/corn aroma with a bit of malt. Molasses as it warms. Mildly bitter flavour with the same sweet cereals as the aroma. Bit of malt and fruit as well. Cereal finish with lingering spicy notes. Molasses as it warms. 02-07-09.

330 ml bottle. Clear golden brown. High carbonation level creates a normal head which subsides after a while. Quite a bit of hop bitterness compared to malt sweetness and depth. Thin body. The malts do not stand out in this beer at all. Rather disappointing. Clearly made as a session beer and to be an easily drinkable Christmas beer for the masses.
