1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Can, 4.5%. Clear yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is bready, not unpleasant. Tastes a little old, but is not. Low bitterness. Not as dry as many other pale lagers.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled on the ferry home from skiing. Golden with a disappearing head. Bland malty aroma with a hint of grassy, herb-y hops. Malt, corn, metal in a rather sweet flavour. Falls short of a regular Danish lager, but could be worse.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught in Bodø. Golden colour with a medium white head. Nothing really remarkable in the aroma or flavour. Mostly malt with a hint of hop in the finish. Okay beer.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: OCT 1, 2008 Good pilsener, at moments a bit bitter. Very refreshing in sommer if is at the righ temperature, one of the best of Norway. But the quality is very diferent from bar to bar.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks to Akevitt for sharing. Not bad at all. Gold color and white head. Solid grainy nose with no metal or skunk. Similarly grainy body with a faint metallic finish.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not a bad canned pilsner from Akevitt. Light malt aroma. Malt and hop flavor. It has ok palate, and it is clearly a pilsner rather than a pale lager.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks.......maybe?, to Akevitt for sharing. Pours a golden color with a white head. Very grainy cornlike biscuity sweetness.Solid light floral hoppiness with a good dose of biscuity malt. Actually better than I anticipated, and a solid pils.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Standard on tap in Norway on vacation - uggh. Like an American mega-brew. Maybe just a touch heavier than that, and maybe without that horrible corn flavor. But otherwise this is a bland watered down beer without the typical kind of taste you expect in Europe. Pass.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Not much aroma or taste here. Standard norwegian lager. Not too bad mouthfeel, though, not as watery as many others. a bit sour in the end, could pass as hints of fruit..

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottled, pasteurised, 330ml. Yellow gold with carbonized white head. Fairly standard eurolager, quite sweetcorn ish in character with a background cardboardy note. Virtually lacking flavour, there is not much to describe.
