On tap at Bulduk (Spjelkavik-Alesund). Blond body with a thick, lasting white creamy head. Thin malty/hoppy aroma with light herbal hints. its bland taste carries bready and grassy notes. Ends with a short bitter/herbal finish. Boring, cheap Lager.

33 cl bottle at home. Pours straw yellow with a small white head. Aroma of nothing. Flavour of nothing but a strange metallic bitterness. Waste of time and money.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2013 Lyst lettdrukket konsumøl. Høyt skum som forsvinner fort. Fruktig og søtlig smak med bittersøt avslutning. Butikkøl.

330ml bottle, huge thanx to Cunningham for that one!!!
Pours pale yellow with flat creamy head. Smells sweet malty with lots of cereals. Starts flat malty, slight sweet with lots of grain. Fizzy carbonation. Goes into a malty-musty finish with some bitter hops and cereals.

Bottle at home in London - big thanks to Katya for bringing this back from her holidays! Pours clear yellow, highly effervescent with a small, white foam head. Sweet cereal grains in the nose, hints of biscuits and straw. Light to medium sweet flavor, some dried grains, cereal, faint lemon and metal, low bitterness, some dry white bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly crisp to finish, further dry cereal, mild hay bitterness. Not bad.

Actually much better than a) what I expected and b) most other industrial lagers from Norway. More bitter, but still hints of sweetness.

Rating #801.

Ringnes Pilsner 4,6% on bottle: Aroma plain and a bit metallic but with hints of hops. Taste is actually quite nice with a good bitterness and a bit sour, but still way too metallic. Beer is yellow and boring with a small head, which is lasting for a while.

0.33L can. Soft hop aroma. Interesting hop and yeast taste. Little sweet and little sour. Bitter waterly finish. First norwegian beer expierience. Normal.
