Pours pale yellow with a flat white head. Aroma is sweet malts and hints of corn or cereals. Flavor is pretty much the same but a little bit more sweet. Low to medium carbonation and light body with a corn malt finish.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle 33 cl.
Pours pale to golden, clear and sparkly. With a small, white, medium lasting head. Just as a Pilsener should. No more, no less.
Aroma of hay, earth and dust or old books. Light malt.
A light sweetness, forest water and a slight bitterness to the end.
Another beer not meant for tasting indoor. But as a refreshment in the sun, after a long day of hard manual labour. My views are of course influenced by this being the local stock beer I grew up with.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
A very unremarkable pilsner. Yellow, fizzy, thin white head, rather astringent taste. I'd rather not drink it again.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
A hoppier-than-expected sulfuric industrial lager with strong huskiness and obvious DMS / cooked corn notes, though mild enough not to completely ruin the beer. Medium-low sweetness and relatively high bitterness place it firmly in the realm of Pilsner. The lemon and grass touches hint at German influence, and the grating carbonation and husks suggest that it is factory-made. At the very least it is flavorful enough (smells worse) and the body is decent, and the DMS and roughness not overpowering, which makes it just-drinkable.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
33 cl can, 4.6 abv, supermarket. Hops and some sweet malts to the nose.
Pours an off-white to white, somewhat persistant head on the bubbly bright golden body.
Tastes malts, caramels, grass, sour grass, supressed hops.
Slippery on palate at first, then a bit sticky only.
Aftertaste bread, grains, bread again, some malts then.
Overall drinkable, but not exciting.

A very light ’pils’. Buttery and soft with a slight crispy dry finish. Pretty empty. Not something I would come back to. Gift from Norway, canned.

Lys gulbrunfarge med tynt hvitt skum. Medium pluss med kullsyre. en helt ordinær pils som jeg ikke har mer å si om.
