3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 23, 2011
Can 50 cl. Courtesy of yngwie. Pours a clear golden with a tight white head. Sweet clean malty nose with some flowery hops. Medium body - actually feels stronger and richer than the 4.5% - a good clean maltiness and dry flowery hops leaving a dry if not overly bitter finish. Straight and well made. 230511
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 peermac (56) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 19, 2011
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 esp0r (1258) - NORWAY - FEB 20, 2011
Can. Golden clear with a finger thick white head. Smells of grass and malts. Taste is fruity and dry, some bitterness in finish. The label suggest that this is a fantastic beer, and i can now state that this is not true. Its totally average
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Furseth (1866) - Kungälv, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2011
0,5L Can: Clear red colour, with a nice creamy head. Aroma is sweet maltynes, citrus, and some flowery nose in the end. Flavor had a thin malty sweet mouth feeling. Some bitternes in the end. Ringnes had done better Pilsener than this!!!
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Kestral (505) - Årnes, NORWAY - FEB 4, 2011
Claims to have been voted #1 pilsener in Norway on the side of the can. Pours a deep yellow, leaning towards amber. Fizzy white head that actually leaves some lace and doesn’t disappear immediately. Huh. Aroma is more of the standard macro fare though. On the sweet side definitely, indistinguishable malts with some sort of artificial fruity hop note. Some metallic skunkiness and a slight sour tinge. Fizzy in the mouth, with a noticable bitterness straight away. Fades into the fruity note the aroma gave away, then a slightly dulling stab of malt sweetness before it finishes rather long and dry. I haven’t had macro pilseners in a while, but I must say this isn’t half bad. Wish it was a wee bit fuller in body, a bit less fizzy, and without the skunk.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 tmrmwel (510) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 19, 2011
Can. Pours a nice dark amber, with an almost unnoticeable head. Aroma is light caramel, and light fruity hints. Taste is caramel and some burned caramel malts. Some hops in there, giving a light bitter finish.

Tall can from Oslo supermarket. Gold krystalclear body. Puffy head. Nose of corn. Taste is hoppy, some wheat and sweets. Refreshing and not too bad.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 KnutAlbert (5186) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 12, 2011
A fine golden beer from a 50 cl can. Malty body, Even slight hoppy aroma. Extra premium? For Ringnes perhaps. Mundane.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Sigmund (4166) - Tau, NORWAY - FEB 2, 2011
500 ml can, ABV 4.5%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate "dusty" aroma, some malts, a hint of caramel and grassy hops. The flavour is tolerably hoppy throughout (at least more than the ordinary Ringnes Pilsner), with hints of caramel and a fairly bitter finish.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 larsga (5325) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 6, 2011
Medium white head. Deep yellow body with carbonation. Grassy strawy aroma with malty notes. Clean, but weak. Dry-sweet earthy strawy dusty taste with sugary grainy notes. Mid-bodied. Dusty mouthfeel. Dry grainy toffeeish aftertaste with wet straw notes. It’s not bad, but bland and a little too sweet. (0.5l can, Ica Maxi, Strømmen.)
