2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Slightly more caramel color and a fuller, more bready taste then the standard Ringnes. But it is in no way outstanding. Bittersweet finish, an hint of boiled sweets.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Stable white head. Golden body. Initial aroma of medium sweet malts, then whiffs of meat, bread and skunked hops. Notes of fermented applejuice. Taste is malty but quite unfresh. Light to medium body. Some hopbitterness in the finish.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
500 ml can. Golden body with a thick white head. Aroma is sweet malty and grain. Flavor is quite sweet, malty, some caramel and hints of hops. One of the better newcomers from Ringnes the latest year, but still gives an impression of a helpless attempt from a desperate brewer truing to please everyone with the same brew. OK, I’m a bit strict here, but they are trying to convince me that this is something great. It’ just a decent pilsner.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
500ml can shared with Eva for dinner. Pours a dark golden body under a fast fading beige head. Some citric-grass to the nose. Clean tasting of fresh, dry water mixed with notes of sweet, pale malts. Short bitterish tail. Not the worst of its kind in Norway, but that does say much. I won’t drink it again (16.02.2008).

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can 0,5l. Golden brown colored. A shortlived small head. Metallic hints in the aroma. Carbonated and unvaried malty flavor. Heavy roasted aftertaste. Hardly any bitterness.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can. A clear, golden beer with a fluffy off-white head, diminishing rather quickly. Quite fruity nose with an evident, underlying sweet maltyness. Slightly grainy too. The flavor is quite pleasant, unoffensive and rather boring, with malts, some caramel, sweetness, fruity notes and a weak bitterness. Medium to thin mouthfeel. Sweet, fruity finish. It’s sure not a bad beer, but it’s dead boring, surely made to fill the shelves in the stores with beers from Ringnes. They might say it’s a transition beer, but it’s just a pilsner with a little more color and flavor than their regular pilsner. (080308)

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
A industrial beer with some flavour, and it is quite plesant on the nose, even though it lacks intensity. The palate lacks concentration and it has a low bittenress level. A boring beer, bot not a bat glass

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
500 ml can. Dark golden colour. Crystal clear. Medium-sized white head that clings to the glass. Clean malt aroma with a crisp caramelly aroma and a little metallic hops. Subtle hints of spices. Peppery. High carbonation level. Light bodied, but with quite a bit of malt flavours and a light sweetness. The finish holds some sharp hop bitterness. Decent, but I find it a little too sharp. Could have used a little more body and a more rounded maltiness.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
500 ml can, ABV is 4.6%. Golden colour, decent head. Sweetish fruity aroma, notes of artificial candy. The flavour has some malts and a little caramel, but is mostly bland and boring. The promised "hoppy bitterness" is actually minimal.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours clear with dark golden colour and a small white head. Malty aroma, some grassy hops which give a slightly bitter taste. Thin, dull mouthfeel. Dry, metallic aftertaste.
